Lift

Music & Lyrics by Craig Adams
Book by Ian Watson
Developed by Perfect Pitch
available for amateur & Professional LicenCe with Broadway LicenSing

A contemporary musical set in London with a rich and complex musical score. The journey of the Lift takes one minute (or thereabouts) but the journey of the show takes us through a minute within everyone's imagination, allowing us to say and see things that might not be possible in real life.
★★★★
"Adams’ witty and poignant score brings coherence amongst fragmented bursts of dialogue, each song an eruption of unsaid truth"
Whatsonstage.com (Soho Theatre Production)

Andy and Wendy Barnes produced the original London production with co-producers Ros Povey and Theatre Bench. The show ran a limited season at Soho Theatre in 2013 and starred Cynthia Erivo, Julie Atherton and George Maguire. It was nominated for "BEST MUSIC" in the 2014 whatsonstage awards.

Popular songs from the show include “It’s Been A Year” and “Lost in Translations” the latter of which has featured on both Kerry Ellis and Julie Atherton’s albums.

See below to hear MUSIC from the show, buy the ALBUM, SHEET MUSIC or request a PERFORMANCE LICENCE to present your own production of Lift.

The original London production is currently available to WATCH ONLINE WITH DIGITAL THEATRE
